IRIS THAUMAS Ltd in Malta is seeking to employ a motivated and sales-driven person to join our client's team on a full-time basis as a Salesperson/Consultant. You will use your confidence and friendly personality to make the customer experience truly special. You are a people person and enjoy what you do. This shines through whether you are welcoming customers, listening to their needs, taking them on test drives, or sharing the details of the fantastic deals and bespoke services our client offers. Training will be provided to the selected candidate and the person will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet, guide, and inform customers whilst being able to give a competent and enthusiastic presentation of all vehicles and lifting equipment.
- Cold calls prospective clients to generate new business.
- Expand the Customer database.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our client's current vehicle inventory.
- Create and maintain a positive customer-friendly sales environment; whilst taking responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of our client's product lines.
- Follow-up with buyers to ensure client satisfaction and strong rapport with their clients.
- Issuing quotations and assisting their clients in credit possibilities.
- Coordinating test drives and assisting their clients accordingly.
- Follow up with their clients on queries and sales quotations.
- Preparing and filing in sales documentation and required documentation.
- Delivering the purchased vehicle to their client, upon its completion of the pre-delivery inspection and in a timely manner.
- Posting of special offers and products available for sale on the Group’s social media pages.
Experience, Knowledge, and skills:
- At least 1-year of sales experience.
- Previous experience in a car sales environment.
- Be highly motivated and proactively target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent communication skills, and a strong working knowledge of the Maltese Language.
- Have excellent customer engagement and interpersonal skills, and able to provide an excellent sales experience.
- Have strong negotiating skills.
- Must hold a valid driver’s licence.
Education and Training:
- Tertiary level or higher.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00, Saturday 8:00 until midday.
