Marble Innovation in Malta is looking to recruit a Salesperson to join their team on a full-time basis. Whilst reporting to the Director, the Salesperson is responsible for providing the best solutions to customers’ needs and ensuring customer satisfaction whilst carrying out administrative duties such as preparing and handling information requests and liaising with clients and layers.
Marble innovation is the sole supplier in Malta of the renowned international quartz company Caesarstone. The company is one of the top local factories manufacturing kitchen tops, facades, staircases, bathrooms, shower trays, and various other items made from quartz, ceramics, marble, quartzite, onyx, and granite.
Duties:
- Present, promote, and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Liaise with current and potential clients through various channels (telephone, e-mail, and social media)
- Develop and maintain the customer database
- Prepare sales quotes
- Schedule appointments with clients and coordinate between layers and clients
- Follow through the whole process, starting from sales until installation to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform duties as instructed by management from time to time.
Work Schedule:
- 40 hours a week from Monday to Friday starting from 09:00hrs until 17:00hrs and Saturday between 9:00 and 12:00
Remuneration:
Remuneration includes a competitive salary package and commission on sales.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Take control and manage deadlines successfully
- Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues
- Be a good team player
- Works calmly and effectively under pressure
- Result-oriented and a highly determined individual
- Have a good command of speaking and writing skills in English and possibly Maltese
- Able to use Microsoft Office programmes like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education and Training:
- Certificate in Sales or equivalent would be considered an asset
- Willing to learn and attend training
- European passport or working permission to work in Malta
- Clean police conduct certificate (must be presented).
