Sales Team Leader

Job Description
V.J Salomone Consumer Lines Ltd forms part of the V.J. Salomone Group of Companies, established in 1920. We are a leading import and distribution company representing international brands in the fast-moving consumer business.  

We are currently seeking to recruit a Sales Team Leader to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will delegate tasks, set deadlines, and motivate and support a team of sales representatives whilst liaising with senior management with regard to the overall sales strategy of the Company.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and developing our presence in the field 
• Keeping a good rapport with all clients in the company’s best interests
• Spending the better part of the day out in the field visiting clients
• Keeping informed of new products and services and analysing the market
• Identifying new sales opportunities and suggesting improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in the Maltese market and especially in the FMCG industry
• Team player with a can-do attitude and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure on a daily basis
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Maltese and English
• Be IT literate.
