A vacancy for the post of Sales Representative has arisen within the Sales Department of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc. Malta, on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the selected candidate will be required to identify and exploit new sales and business opportunities.

Furthermore, the candidate will be required to:

  • Account for business development and implement sales plans according to the budget allocated while making sure that the Company can attain the best profitability for each customer
  • Maintain personal customer contact by visiting a number of clients and be able to negotiate agreements on grants/loans and discounts
  • Compile weekly reports on sales activities and market developments, analyse field sales reports and investigate any variances between forecast and actual sales report findings
  • Motivate & appraise Sales Reps to meet their targets, plan and administer their leave and plan their routes
  • Expediently handle complaints reported by Sales Reps through their reports through personal contact or as you deem fit
  • Monitor and report competitor activities and changes in the marketplace
  • Assist in the monitoring and supervision of sponsored events and attending them as instructed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of an Advanced Level standard of education or equivalent
  • Possess very strong leadership skills, team facilitation, and problem-solving skills
  • Be an excellent communicator both verbally & in writing
  • Experience and a track record of field sales and sales management in the FMCG industry will be considered an asset.
