Sales Representative

A vacancy has arisen for the post of Sales Representative, Foodservice within Quintano Foods Ltd in Malta. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and delivery of high-quality customer service to the existent and potential clients. He/ she will also be responsible for the collection of receivables and the key source of information for the movement of goods/brands.

The selected candidate will be required to:

• Secure customer orders through personal sales visits to existing customers;
• Prospect and qualify new clients to identify and develop new accounts;
• Conduct follow up sales calls to all accounts to ensure customer satisfaction;
• Meet sales and penetration targets;
• Promote new products and any special deals;
• Advise customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service;
• Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, and logistics;
• Ensure payment of receivables in a timely and diplomatic fashion;
• Monitor records on a daily basis as per company procedures;
• Give feedback on sales trends and market feedback;
• Relieve other sales representatives if required.

The selected candidate will:

• Possess experience in the sales sector; v(experience in the HORECA sector would be considered an asset).
• Have excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• Be self-motivated; show initiative, be results motivated, and capable to work both within a professional team and independently;
• Be proficient in using Microsoft applications and contact management software;
• Have a valid driver’s licence.
