The Vacancy

A vacancy has arisen for a full-time Sales Reliever in the Retail sector.

The selected candidate will be required to relieve any Group Sales Representative when on vacation and / or sick leave. Forming part of the Sales Department, the ideal candidate will be organised, smart, ambitious, with a positive attitude and enthusiastic to learn. On-going training will be provided.

Apart from the relieving duties, the selected candidate will act as support to the sales and operations manager by helping in daily tasks related to the sales and targets given to the sales representatives. This position will also include supporting the retail sales team in increasing sales and distribution of the company`s range of products. This position is considered to be the main link between the management and the sales representatives.  

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to promote top international brands whilst visiting retail outlets on a daily basis.

Whilst previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset, the ideal candidate should possess:

- Good command of both Maltese and English languages

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Outgoing personality

- The ability to work under minimal supervision

- A clean and valid driving license

- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Word and Excel

- Flair for sales

- Developing and maintaining positive business and customer relationships
