V.J. Salomone Consumer Lines in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Sales Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Description:
We are currently seeking to recruit a SALES MANAGER to join our dynamic team.  The selected candidate will organise, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives and liaise with senior management to reach and exceed performance targets.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, your responsibilities will include the implementation of incentive schemes, and maintaining and developing strong customer relations through frequent field visits whilst keeping abreast of developments within the FMCG market. 

This position calls for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys working in different environments throughout the workday. You will also be continuously monitoring for potential training requirements in addition to supervising, motivating, and monitoring the Sales team. 

Qualifications and Experience:

• A-Level standard education or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position within the same industry
• Be fluent in both Maltese and English.

Skills and Competences:    

• Communication, time management & people skills
• Able to keep up in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively
• Excellent commercial skills and problem-solving abilities
• Be a team player and have a flexible approach and a can-do attitude  
• FMCG sales and distribution experience will be considered an asset.
