Michael Debono Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Sales Executive (B2B) to join their Sales Team on a full-time basis.

Michael Debono Ltd (MDL) is part of the Debono Group, a multifaceted group of companies with a keen focus on the mobility sector. The company aims to deliver business growth by tapping into innovation that really impacts the lives of consumers. The product offering is composed of passenger and commercial vehicles, motorbikes, vehicle parts and accessories, and aftersales services. The company also offers consumers a range of consumer finance solutions to fund the acquisition of their vehicles.

The Position:

  • Responsible for the achievement of team target;
  • Anticipates the needs of the client through Probing and fair categorization by client personas;
  • Preparation of quotes according to the model, budget, lifestyle, spoken and hidden needs;
  • Follow up on clients following first follow up done by Call center;
  • Prepares discounts on vehicles and accessories;
Prepare file including:
  • Scrappage scheme;
  • Part exchange;
  • Higher purchase;
  • Registration and insurance;
  • Deposit on order with the cashier;
  • Assesses vehicle when the car arrives before delivery to the client;
  • Calls client to organize appointment when the car is ready for pick up;
  • Liaise with PDI to explain the preparation requirements of the vehicle;
  • Explains to the client the vehicle features when the appointment is given for the car pick up;
  • Coordinate with the workshop to fit accessories, if any;
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by one’s superior.

The Requirements:
  • Organized team player with excellent negotiation and communication skills;
  • Familiar with Microsoft desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications;
  • A clean police conduct;
  • Good knowledge of Internal IT system;
  • In depth technical Knowledge of the automotive industry would be an asset;
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a sales-oriented environment B2C.
