Role Overview
Heroix is collaborating with a distinguished player in the shipping and insurance sector to find a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive. This role involves expanding the client base, nurturing ongoing relationships, and identifying business opportunities across both divisions. The successful candidate will be expected to apply strategic sales techniques and deliver tailored service offerings to meet the evolving needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across both the shipping and insurance areas of the Company.
• Lead Generation: Build a strong pipeline through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Client Solutions: Evaluate client needs and present service offerings that align with their business objectives.
• Sales Presentations: Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations to potential clients.
• Client Retention: Develop and maintain long-standing client relationships that promote repeat business.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction.
• Market Awareness: Stay current on industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
• Performance Management: Meet or surpass sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Reporting: Deliver consistent updates and reports to the Head of Department regarding sales progress and achievements.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

• Experience: Demonstrated B2B sales experience, ideally within shipping, logistics, or insurance sectors.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of both English and Maltese is required to succeed in this role. 
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a persuasive and confident approach.
• Interpersonal Skills: Capable of building meaningful relationships with both clients and team members.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of sales processes and CRM systems; familiarity with industry-specific terminology is beneficial.
• Organisation: Skilled at managing multiple tasks, priorities, and client accounts with precision and efficiency.
• Self-Motivated: Highly driven, proactive, and goal-oriented individual with a positive outlook.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify client challenges and provide effective solutions.
