Nestle Malta Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Sales & Customer Support Developer to join their team on a full-time basis. As a Sales & Customer Support Developer at Nestlé, you play a dynamic role by using your experience as a Sales Representative to develop our current and prospective client portfolio.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients for the assigned territory and will be responsible to promote and sell the Company’s range of products and services in the HORECA channel. We are seeking an individual who possesses a mixture of negotiation, and a customer-orientation mindset, whilst working in a fast-paced environment where priority is given in identifying new customers, giving customer support to existing customers, and make on spot upselling of products ensuring excellent service standards, and sharing our passion for our brands.

Key responsibilities:
  • Secure customers’ orders through regular visits.
  • Improve existent client performances through base sales volume and value by each category
  • Develop a strong relationship with an existing and potential client base
  • Acquire new customers within the assigned territory
  • Monitor the customer’s ROI
  • Inform customers of new products and promote upselling
  • Ensure that any company equipment loaned to customers is functioning properly
  • Cash collection and customer payments in line with Nestlé’s set payment terms
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity & competitor activities to appropriate internal teams
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure optimal customer services
  • Other duties which may be deemed appropriate for the role, assigned from time to time

We are looking for somebody who has:
  • Previous experience in a Sales Representative role in the HORECA channel (especially on Roast & Ground coffee) will be considered as an asset.
  • A “can do” positive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Customer focused and oriented
  • Excellent communication and customer handling skills;
  • Exposure to a busy fast-paced environment with a customer-facing role;
  • Ability to assume responsibility for the Company’s vehicle, equipment, and products
  • Computer literacy (MS Office tools);
  • Fluent in English and Maltese, any other language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Nestlé products and customer environment will be considered as an asset;
