Beacon Media Group Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Sales & Business Development Executive to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Job Role: 
The Sales & Business Development Executive is responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects to sell digital space and online media services to advertisers and negotiate deals, manage client relationships as well as ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities:

  • Approach potential clients through new leads, cold calls, existing relationships, promotional events, or other means, and subsequently set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their needs and concerns.
  • Facilitate successful sales by collecting client information and providing order information to the company.
  • Add notes to records for each client call or meeting.
  • Track media purchases made to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.
  • Work to maximise sales and meet quotas in the short and long term
  • Provide client-focused solutions to attract new customers and retain existing ones, as well as provide support.
  • Contribute to market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customers’ needs.
  • Contribute to and implement the sales and marketing strategy which aims to find new prospects and sales leads and convert them into paid users or customers.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on services.
  • Create regular reviews/reports with sales and financial data.
  • Negotiate, close deals, and handle complaints or objections.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share the knowledge gathered with internal teams.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with all clients in the executive's portfolio.
  • Constantly update his/her direct superior and collaborate with the latter and with other team members to achieve better results.
  • Keep up to date with any new changes and trends on social media platforms to grow online sales.
  • Assist with the general day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Support his/her direct superior/s and colleagues.
  • Observe and implement established policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Education and requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the advertising, agency, or media landscape.
  • A Diploma / Degree level of education, preferably in Management, Marketing, Sales, or Business, would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as written and verbal communication.
  • Strong capability to autonomously deliver against short-term goals, and long-term objectives.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiation techniques.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Business fluent in both Maltese and English languages.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • A clean driving license.
