Sales assistant

The Sales Assistant must have a good command of the English language, capable of working independently and in a team, have excellent organizational skills, telephone, and email manners, able to multi-task and proficient in Microsoft Office.

The Sales Assistant will handle projects from the quotation stage to liaising with customers in the final stages of their order.

Responsibilities

· Responding in a knowledgeable, professional, and timely manner to all telephone and email enquiries

· Assist in the sale of showroom items 

· Setting appointments for the customers 

· Receiving payments and coordinating deliveries 

· Providing ad-hoc support to the Sales team

· Advertising on live radio broadcasting from our premises.

Requirements / working conditions

· To work on a full-time basis; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 09:00 to 17:30 Wednesday from 09:00 to 19:00 and Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00 

· Fluency in written and spoken Maltese and English 

· Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

· Possess a flair for sales

· Have an interest in working in a dynamic and rapidly changing / growing environment

· Work as part of a team or on your own initiative

· Although not necessary, understanding and speaking Italian language will be considered an asset

· Be smart, mature, self-motivated, and dedicated

· Have a can-do attitude and strong work ethic

· Although training will be given to the chosen candidate, previous sales experience will be considered an asset
