Job Description
VJ Salomone Consumer Lines Limited forms part of VJ Salomone Group of Companies, established in 1920.  We are a leading import and distribution company, representing international brands in the fast-moving consumer business. Due to rapid growth in the portfolio of brands represented, we are currently seeking to recruit Full-Time Merchandisers.

The selected candidate/s shall report directly to the Company’s Merchandising Team Leader and will work closely with key account clients to ensure product/s availability at all times.  

Other responsibilities will include:

• Monitor and ensure maintenance of merchandising standards in assigned area
• Proper stock rotation and maximization of product exposure
• Follow display planograms for various brands as shall be directed
• Attend merchandisers’ meetings as shall be directed
• Attend product knowledge training sessions.

Requirements:

• Applicants are required to be fluent in both Maltese and English, possess excellent interpersonal communication and verbal presentation skills, be customer focused, have an outgoing personality, be computer literate and possess a clean driving license and own transport
• Experience in a similar position is ideal but not essential since training shall be provided.
