Head of Business Development

Our client, operating within the Leisure industry, is looking for a Head of Business Development. Reporting directly to the CEO, your responsibilities will include:

• Connecting revenue related functions, from sales to pricing, customer relations, business development, and revenue operations
• Being responsible for every process that generates revenue and will be expected to implement complex solutions with creativity and passion
• Inspiring and empowering our team by providing guidance, training and mentorship
• Developing business plans, setting sales targets and goals, analysing data, and overseeing marketing processes
• Focusing on building and implementing all strategic planning
• Working hand-in-hand with the Chief Operations Officer to focus on the expansion of customer segments and business partnerships – and ultimately strengthen operations

Although a Monday to Friday role, flexibility to work evenings and weekends whenever required are a must, considering this role is within Hospitality

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Maltese
• Strong understanding of CRM Systems
• In possession of a clean driving license
• Strong work etic, adaptable, and flexible

• At least 3 years experience within a similar role within the local hospitality industry
• Degree in Business Administration or related
• Proven experience in decision making on business metrics and ability to build and implement a business strategy
