Melita Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Corporate Solutions Sales Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis.

If you have a technical flair and love establishing new business relationships, we have the job for you!  We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen to make a mark in driving growth within the business market.

Job Role: 
You would be required to acquire and develop new business accounts by establishing and maintaining a healthy business relationship with business clients. In this role, you will also need to focus on ensuring that commercial targets are met. This role requires working within a team in order to maximize sales activity for Melita’s data center and fiber connectivity products and services. A high degree of resilience and dedication, and the ability to develop a network of key contacts in order to drive growth in the business market is required.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain an excellent business relationship with existing and potential clients
  • Ensure that pre-set monthly, quarterly and yearly targets are achieved
  • Responsible for the setting and implementation of account development strategy in order to reach agreed targets
  • Compile monthly reports assessing performance, current progress against objectives, highlighting upcoming plans along with any known or foreseen problems
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all client contacts.


Job requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification in ICT / telecommunications (candidates with Advanced Technical Diplomas or CCNA certification will also be considered)
  • Negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and with minimum supervision
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours when the need arises
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in a sales environment will be considered an asset
