Corinthia Hotel St. George’s Bay in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Corporate Sales Executive to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has risen for a self-motivated and energetic Corporate Sales Executive for the Corinthia St George’s Bay Peninsula. We are looking for someone with a can-do approach, to look after business from the corporate segment.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Keeping abreast of the newest trends and innovations in the industry, specifically, but not limited to the above-mentioned segment and market
  • Keeping up-to-date with the economic situation and monitoring trends within the designated markets and sharing this with the team accordingly
  • Taking a proactive approach to sales, anticipating potential opportunities and developing new opportunities
  • Entertaining clients and Meeting prospective clients to build relationships
  • Answering sales requests in a timely manner.
  • Developing detailed knowledge of all aspects of Corinthia Hotel in order to sell effectively and ensure that the client has accurate and adequate information in order to be able to confirm the business
  • Overseeing the hotel’s relevant sections of the sales database (Opera Sales & Catering) in alignment with designated market sectors and territories ensuring data maintenance and tracking are adhered to
  • Conducting surveys of local/competitor markets for designated territories and market sectors making recommendations, and ensuring we remain competitive
  • Managing ad-hoc projects as required in order to meet business needs
  • Tracking key business indicators (such as Hotelligence, STR reports, and geographic stats) to determine the effectiveness of current systems and processes and identifying areas for improvement
  • Handling administrative tasks as necessary.


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Ideally Sales experience but experience in Operations is a must, preferably within a hotel environment
  • An advanced knowledge of designated markets with existing client relationships
  • Flair for Sales and exceeding customer expectations
  • Be able to prioritise and manage time efficiently, and be willing to work flexible hours
  • IT skills, with a preference for knowledge of Opera Sales and Catering
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Full Clean Driving Licence.
