Bajada New Energy in Malta is looking for a passionate Commercial Sales Executive to join their sales team here at Bajada New Energy. The sales executive's responsibilities include generating leads, making sales calls, continuously updating our CRM database, and meeting sales targets.
Job Role:
The selected candidate will be a person with strong leadership skills, who is able to communicate clearly to all stakeholders, and someone who displays a strong sense of presence and charisma. To be successful as a Commercial Sales Executive you should be an inspired self-starter and able to drive sales growth. Ultimately, a top-notch Commercial Sales Executive should be able to build rapport with customers and close sales.
Preference will be given to Maltese and English-speaking candidates, who have proven experience or experience in the Renewable Energy Sector including but not limited to Photovoltaic Panels & Solar Water Heaters etc.

Responsibilities:
Setting sales goals and developing sales strategies
Analyse the territory/market's potential. Identify trends and untapped opportunities.
Researching prospects and generating leads
Contacting potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person
Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints
Preparing and sending quotes and proposals
Managing the sales process through specific software programs
Building and maintaining a CRM database
Handling of tenders and the relative documentation
Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
Participating in sales team meetings
Requirements:
1+ years of sales experience, training will be given
Highly motivated and the target is driven with a track record in sales.
Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to prioritise and think strategically.
Entrepreneurial, reliable, and resourceful. Self-starter and self-driver with a proven ability to focus on solutions rather than on problems.
Hold a strong business acumen as well as tech literacy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs.

Today, the company is known as Bajada New Energy Ltd (BNE). Bajada New Energy has already installed over 4 Mega Watts in Photovoltaic Systems (Solar Panels) and over 12,000 Solar Water Heaters and Solar Thermal Systems. We employ over 50 full- and part-time employees; electrical and mechanical engineers, architects and civil engineers, licensed electricians, qualified installers, all backed by a team of professionals in the operations department.
