Our client, operating in the Fintech industry is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fintech ecosystem (B2B/B2C/B2B2C as applicable).
Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, partners, and key clients.
Develop and execute BD strategies aligned with company goals.
Collaborate with product, marketing, and tech teams to tailor offerings for specific markets or clients.
Own the sales cycle: lead generation, proposal, negotiation, and closing deals.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company.
Track market trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes to inform business strategy.
Prepare regular reports and forecasts for leadership on business performance.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Requirements
Previous experience in business development in fintech, banking, or financial services is a must.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and partnership targets.
Strong understanding of fintech domains.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Network within the fintech or broader financial ecosystem is a significant advantage.
Hold an excellent level of verbal and written English, fluency in Italian and Spanish will be given preference.
