APCOPAY in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

The Company provides tools to accept payments globally and strives to simplify challenges present in the market. APCOPAY offers an eCommerce payments aggregator service with over 40 acquiring banks and 240+ payment options, processing 100 currencies for over 1200 merchants in 25 countries. The Company supports a range of payment methods, including credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. APCOPAY has a market-leading presence with clients operating in various industries. Based in Malta and reporting to the Head of Business Development, the candidate will be responsible for approaching new and existing clients and following up on business leads. The BDM’s primary focus is to offer various payment options to merchants in line with their business needs.
Explaining and selling multiple online payments solutions to clients, understanding the different business needs of each client based on their target market, maintaining strong business relationships with key stakeholders, attending industry events and conferences to generate new business as well as liaising with the Merchant Services team to deliver favourable outcomes during the onboarding process.
The selected candidate needs to be a seasoned networker, who is able to work on their own initiative in line with rewarding targets. The ideal candidate should possess previous experience within payments, banking and/or the iGaming industry, be able to interact well with internal and external stakeholders whilst having a strong knowledge and keen interest in online payment trends. Fluency in English is a must and knowledge of other languages would be considered an asset.
