Brand Manager

Job Description
Francis Busuttil & Sons (Marketing) Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Brand Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
The ideal candidate would be a motivated candidate who is passionate about the FMCG Industry. You shall be responsible for managing the assigned brand/s in terms of supplier relationships together with the rest of the brand management team, stock management as well as procurement, and managing brands in the local market with the ultimate goal of working with Sales and Marketing to achieve the sales and margin goals. The Commercial Manager is also responsible for the preparation of brand performance reports and forecasting.

Responsibilities:  

• Develop, drive and implement a business plan including budgeting and forecasting of the respective brands within your portfolio
• Maintain an excellent relationship with all suppliers
• Analyze data and work seamlessly with sales and marketing teams, in line with pre-set budgets, in order to ensure that the commercial unit reaches sales and margin targets
• Maximize sales and margin growth through existing brands and through innovation by the rollout of new products/brands
• Manage the price model and suggest tactical price positioning
• Set and communicate commercial strategies with a view to maximizing market penetration in relevant channels
• Responsible to forecast demand, ordering stock in line with pre-set plans, and constantly monitoring stock levels to ensure adequate stocks to avoid out-of-stock situations.

Requirements:

• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Maltese
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driving license
• A University Degree or equivalent in a business-related subject
• Prior experience in FMCG would be considered an asset.
