Assistant Sales Manager

Job Description
The Groom Collection is an established business in the retail and rental sector in Malta that has been operating for the past 30 years. They are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Sales Manager to support our ever-growing operation on a full-time basis!

The successful candidate shall provide the Sales Manager with the help that is required to keep the shop in optimal running order, from ordering inventory and processing sales to generating cash reports and responding to customer queries. We are looking for a charismatic and ambitious professional who wants to pursue a career in retail management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Sales Manager with the daily duties;
• Greeting and attending to customers’ needs;
• Coaching and supporting other team members;
• Maintaining and monitoring of shop inventory;
• Ensuring that the shop is always in a neat and presentable condition for customers.

The ideal candidate should:

• Have an eye for fashion and trends, with a passion for retail;
• Possess a pleasant personality with great communication skills;
• Have a minimum of two years experience in a retail outlet or within a customer-centric role;
• Have strong organisational and customer service skills;
• Maintain a smart and well-groomed appearance;
• Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Have an excellent command of both English and Maltese;
• Be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
