Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (TEVA) in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Quality Systems & Quality Compliance Specialist I to join their team on a full-time indefinite basis.

Job Role:
Reporting to the Mgr Quality Systems & Quality Compliance and forming part of the Quality Systems & Quality Compliance Department, this role is on a full-time indefinite basis at the TEVA site in Bulebel.  

Responsibilities:
Assisting the Manager in the maintenance of the Quality Systems/Quality Compliance in the following areas:

  • Manage internal, external, Authority, and supplier audits through the internal CAPA system and physical or virtual hosting.
  • Manage the Supplier Qualification programme
  • Manage the Change Control system
  • Act as Quality Approver in Change Controls/Corrective/Preventive Actions/Investigations (Laboratory/Production/General)
  • Maintain the company’s Site Master File and SOP system, Investigate GMP related Client/Supplier complaints
  • Address Quality related issues
  • Perform staff training programs as and when required
  • Participate in internal audits
  • Manage the pest control programme
  • Gather and process quality metrics
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Compile Quality KPIs and ensure that they are being met by following up routinely
  • Participate in the on-site HACCP program as a risk assessor
  • Responsibilities of the Department include site compliance.


Requirements:

  • The applicant should have a first degree in a relevant Science (or related) discipline (B. Pharm / B. Sc.)
  • Must be knowledgeable in TQM and risk assessment tools
  • Should be computer literate with excellent working skills in Microsoft XL and Access
  • Be able to take on quickly the use of the company’s ERP system and other dedicated software used to support the company’s quality system
  • Should possess excellent communication skills and is capable of working on own initiative with the least level of supervision
  • In addition, the applicant should be mature with an overall positive attitude, adaptable to changes in the work environment, have a continuous improvement mentality, and be willing to take on new projects as directed by the manager.
