Quality Assurance Executive (Food)

Our client, one of the leading food production companies on the island, are looking for a Quality Assurance Executive. You will be responsible for liaising with internal departments as well as regulatory bodies to implement and maintain standards, whilst conducting audits.

Your other responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring operations, particularly food processing, packaging, and quality control
• Carry out inspection tests on intermediate and finished packages
• Developing, updating and implementing documentation related to processing, quality assurance and food safety 
• Collect final product samples and test for shelf life and prior to final dispatch
• Finalise necessary reporting of test and analysis
• Generating, updating and managing an audit program 

Working Hours
Monday to Saturday from 07.00hrs till 14.00hrs

• A key understanding of HACCP, quality and food safety management
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent research skills
• Fluency (written and verbal) in English and Maltese
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Rigorous attention to detail

• Post-graduate Degree in a food science related subject
• Knowledge of, and experience with, ISO 9001 standards will be considered a bonus
