Our client is an established name on the local market. They would like to engage a Lab Manager to lead the laboratory
The Role
You will report directly to the Managing Director
You will manage a number of technicians
You will ensure that all calibration tasks are handled on time and and within scope
In your role of Lab Manager, you will ensure that the Quality Management System is adhered to
You will ensure that the requirements of ISO9001 & ISO 17025 are adhered to
Implementation of robust methods to ensure the quality of calibration results
You will carry out of preliminary visits at customer’s facility, assist, discuss and define customer’s technical requirements (i.e. calibration target ranges and tolerances)
Identification, organization and/or delivery of training to the lab-technicians
Carrying out of analysis of risk associated with the laboratory activities and planning actions to address these risks and opportunities
Assurance of customer satisfaction
Skill-sets and Requirements
Have experience in leading a team
Having experience in calibration will be considered as an asset but not a must. Training will be provided
Be ready to learn how to handle calibration tasks
You be travelling to some client sites oversees
Have experience in dealing with clients
Be very diligent and detail oriented
Having knowledge of procedures and regulations will be considered as a strong asset
