Our client is a highly respected multi-disciplinary consultancy providing high-quality design solutions to high-end projects throughout Malta and further afield. Undertaking projects from high-end retail establishments to 5* hotels, this organization’s Interior Design department consistently delivers on making the most of interior spaces. Due to continued expansion and promotions within the business, a Project Manager specialising in Interiors is now required to take responsibility for personnel, operational controls, financial flows, and the finishing of projects.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Complete reports on all operational divisions.
- Develop and implement plans to improve policies, systems, and procedures.
- Work to tight budgets and deadlines.
- Preparation and updating of the daily program of work.
- Problem-solving includes dealing with issues on-site, staff sickness, adverse weather.
- Supporting the Director in the preparation of tenders and formulating new project contracts with prospective customers.
- Conducting thorough site visits to check the work and the standard of work.
- Create a database with suppliers’ details and update it regularly with products and price comparisons.
- Ensuring a high level of health and safety on-site at all times.
- Monitoring and managing employees and subcontractors.
- Supporting in the preparation of tenders.
- Must have experience in a similar role
- Must hold related qualifications.
