Project Manager

A leader in the aviation industry is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager will be responsible for defining, leading and delivering projects that relate to the needs of the Group, ensuring the projects remain in scope, on schedule and change plans are adhered to.

Responsibilities:

• Handle change through effective communication, training, stakeholder management and results management
• Maintain stakeholder & vendor relationships
• Manage staffing / resourcing for successful project delivery and proactively supervising technical delivery teams
• Create, track and run project documentation
• Working with various stakeholders to define project scope, resource requirements, budget, timelines, deliverables, and milestones
• Create project status reports and provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress
• Manage projects through all phases of their life cycle, including project initiation, architecture design, development and integration, testing, post implementation activities and project closure
• End-to-end responsibility for project delivery as well as governing the delivery across stakeholders, ensuring the overall solution is of top-notch quality
• Drive for continuous improvement within projects
• Measure project performance to identify areas of improvement

• 2+ years of experience with Jira, Jira Align, Monday.com, Confluence or equivalent
• 3+ years of Technology Project Delivery experience or Project Management experience
• SAFe certified, experience or detailed understanding (or other scaled agile frameworks)
• Good organizational skills and can respond to changing priorities quickly and with good time management skills
• Eager to constantly learn, challenge the norm and be ready to offer support during projects
• Goal-driven, comfortable in working independently with an entrepreneurial approach to the role
• Strong communication skills to effectively support the discussion of complex topics to different stakeholders
• Confident using project planning tools and software to manage project artifacts, deliverables, timelines, risks, results etc
• Passion and drive to achieve more and to aim higher, to collaborate and be a team player, driving for excellence
• Ability to work effectively within complex, multi-location, multi-vendor environments with demanding stakeholders
• A decent grasp of technology to support productive discussions with product owners, architects, and digital consultants
• Experience with agile and waterfall project management methodologies

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field of study
• Scrum Alliance Certification and/or PRINCE2
