Expires in 25 days (16 May 2025)

Exciting Opportunity at Betsson Group! We are looking for a talented Product Design Manager to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our company.

The Wow

As a Product Design Manager, you will lead a talented team of designers who work with our product development teams to deliver industry leading products and user experiences on a global scale. As a design leader, you will play a key role in ensuring our products and features are easy to use, beautifully crafted, and delight the user. You will help to instil an insights-based culture for product design, ensuring user research and data are utilised throughout the design process. Although this is a management role, you will still be expected to be a hands-on member of the team.

A taster of what you will be involved with
  • Lead the design team for a product domain, taking overall accountability for their performance and the quality of their work
  • Organise and oversee the work of the team in alignment with the product roadmap and goals
  • Provide coaching and mentorship for each member of the team, helping them to improve and grow their skills
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding of new team members
  • Ensure active collaboration of the product design team with product management, engineering teams and stakeholders
  • Map, research and analyse user journeys to oversee the user experience for the product domain and drive iterative improvements
  • Contribute to product direction through active involvement in evolving and executing the product strategy and vision
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers and products, both within yourself and within the team
  • Contribute to the product prioritisation and planning process, championing the need for the highest standards in the user experience and user interface design
  • Produce and present wireframes, user flows and prototypes to guide design and inspire the wider organisation
  • Continuously review the live product to identify areas for improvement and any deviations from the expected experience
  • Balance design leadership with delivery accountability, supporting designers through the full UCD process: from research and ideation to development and iteration
  • Embed UX practice and process, ensuring alignment with our evolving design system, accessibility standards, and product delivery methodologies (agile, double/triple diamond, etc.)
  • Build strong relationships with Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers, and other main stakeholders to prioritise design effort and remove blockers
What we are looking for
  • Highly experienced in product design for web products serving desktop and mobile devices, covering both responsive and adaptive design
  • Experience in leading and building a high performing design team
  • Experience working with industry standard software such as Figma (preferred) and Miro to produce, test, explore and share design solutions
  • Validated expertise in usability, user testing, information architecture, journey mapping, content strategy, and prototyping
  • Experience working with a design system or pattern design library
  • Strong understanding of how to use metrics, data and research in product design
  • Comfortable working with agile and remote development teams
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Clear verbal & written communication
  • Deep knowledge of modern design tools (e.g. Figma, Miro) and their real-world application within agile product teams
  • Proven track record of people development, including coaching, mentoring, goal-setting and supporting progression
  • Significant experience managing design teams within cross-functional environments — ideally across multiple markets, products, or brands
  • Experience working with and contributing to design systems, brand guidelines and accessibility frameworks
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders, contributing to roadmap discussions, and advocating for the value of design
Great if you have
  • Experience of working across the iGaming and/or Live Casino industry
  • Experience working on large scale, complex projects
