Process Engineer

Our client, a multinational Electronics Group, is seeking to recruit a Process Engineer to join the Quality Process Team. You will have excellent knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques and focused on continuous improvement.

Your other responsibilities will include:

• Improving and maintaining existing production processes to deliver right-first-time products to meet a demanding customer based production schedule
• Defining and maintaining process Quality Control Plans in order to monitor and control production and meet the specified quality objectives
• Making use of Lean & Six Sigma tools in order to optimise process flow and functions, focus on waste elimination and continuous improvement
• Introduction and maintenance of SPCs for key processes on the shop-floor, evaluate results and react to deviations to have more robust processes
• Monitor KPIs related to Process and Quality, and analyse data to implement corrective actions for improvements to reach the set targets
• Analysing existing and new processes to devise efficient ways how to introduce cost justified Automation, reduce labour and product cost and improve quality  
• Running DOEs and provide reports related to new and existing processes and/or the introduction of new raw material
• Assisting Process & Automation teams during the Industrialisation phase of New Products Introduction (NPI) to help ensure that milestones are delivered on time
