Planning Manager

Farsons Group is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Planning Manager to join our Operations Management team. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the selected candidate will play a key role in organizing production schedules, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Develop and manage production schedules to meet sales demand and industry best practices. ✅ Oversee the production of finished goods and stock, ensuring efficient short-, medium-, and long-term planning.

✅ Ensure timely delivery of production schedules to teams while monitoring progress and reporting issues to the COO.

✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing leadership in production planning.

✅ Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning and materials management.

✅ Ensure compliance with planning procedures across production teams.

✅ Foster collaboration between departments to achieve operational goals.

✅ Coordinate artwork development and approvals with Operations and Sales & Marketing teams.

✅ Support the COO in standardizing operational processes and improving ways of working.

✅ Assist the COO and Supply Chain Manager in resource planning.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ A qualification in Business Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. ✔ Significant experience in production/manufacturing planning.

✔ Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

✔ Experience with lean/continuous improvement tools & techniques.

✔ Excellent communication and presentation skills.

✔ Strong analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
