Junior Production Planner

We have a Junior Production Planner role within one of the leading manufacturing companies in Malta. Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Ensuring daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectation
• Analysing and preparing documents needed for production
• Data analysis to support Senior Planning Manager in data driven decision-making
• Supporting the Dispatch team to plan and manage finished goods internal movement prior to shipments
• Maintaining the production schedule, document filing, data repositories and other reports as required
• Following-up as required with all teams to expedite actions required to meet production schedule and customer expectation
• Managing digital systems in respect to order intake and manufacturing processing, including data input where required
• Completing status reports for production progress and analyse work in process and material inventory
• Interacting with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested from other stakeholders
• Leading and organising planning meetings to manage any issues prior production start-up
• Making sure that viable production plans are created and published on time for each production department
• Ensuring that the information and documentation for the execution of the production plan is available to all stakeholders
• Assisting in the resolution of data gaps where information is missing and keeping updated to use during budgeting and forecasting
• Liaising with Development on Trials, New Product Developments and launches
• Liaising with Sales teams to coordinate all communication with Sales Offices and Customers including issues and project updates
