Michael Debono Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a B2C Productive Leader to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Michael Debono Ltd (MDL) is part of the Debono Group, a multifaceted group of companies with a keen focus on the mobility sector. The company aims to deliver business growth by tapping into innovation that really impacts the lives of consumers. The product offering is composed of passenger and commercial vehicles, motorbikes, vehicle parts and accessories, and aftersales services. The company also offers consumers a range of consumer finance solutions to fund the acquisition of their vehicles.

The Position:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the B2C Productive Leader will be responsible for:  
  • Customer service;
  • Managing and coaching a team of vehicle technicians and apprentices, making sure targets and business objectives are met;
  • Working with colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless service for customers;
  • Scheduling work to meet customer needs, considering workshop targets, the complexity of each job, and the availability of parts;
  • Providing estimates for servicing and repairs and setting timescales;
  • Preparing and Vetting Job Cards related to B2C and B2B workshops;
  • Accurately recording technician time and writing technical reports and recommendations;
  • Assisting technicians with technical challenges to identify solutions;
  • Ordering correct parts for vehicles;
  • Ensuring warranty standards are adhered to;
  • Liaising with other departments with regards to parts and any other queries as the workshop representative;
  • Making sure all servicing work is carried out correctly, competently, and on time, with customer satisfaction in mind;
  • Ensuring that all work complies with, health and safety and manufacturer policy, as well as company standards.

The Requirements: 
  • Experience in a similar logistical role;
  • Familiar/passionate about cars;
  • A clean police conduct and driving license;
  • Knowledge of Maltese traffic legislations;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills;
  • Solid knowledge of People Management.
