Our client operates in a niche industry and as they are growing their business, they are engaging a Technical Project Manager.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the industrialization portion of customer projects in collaboration with the customer Program manager
You will also be in charge of technically supporting tender submission phases
You will need to travel to see trends and implement any upgrades
Ensure that you engage with all stakeholders to obtain a better outcome for customers and the company
Be the project lead in the projects that you are involved in. Do the project cycle; budget, planning, feasibility study, proof of concept, critical steps, documentation, raw materials, equipment, and resources
Do Risk Assessments
Supporting the technical part of customer project in close cooperation with credential customer project, supply chain/delivery team, product innovation, QA and local operation teams
Define and re-align product design
Establish all the projects documentation and technical specifications associated to these products and projects
Do technical support (remote or on site) for all project steps (Internal, external partner and final customer)
Skill-sets and Requirements
Preferred experience with implementation and use of industrial, lean, and continuous improvement tools and philosophies.

Must be able to perform mathematical calculations consistent with the engineering discipline
Must have the ability to perform complex engineering analyses, integrating company business objectives and opportunities
Must be able to make effective and independent business decisions
Must have the ability to prepare & make presentations in front of managers or employees
Must be able to plan (budget, lead-time), organize & lead projects in a reliable and efficient way
Education & Experience
Preferably have a recognized qualification or experience in Printing &/or Technical Engineering
Must have a minimum of 3 years of printing experience (Paper / Plastic based products) and ideally exposure to the Wet and Dry Offset Litho and Intaglio print processes
