Bajada New Energy is rapidly expanding and we are looking for a full-time motivated and experienced Technical and Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our company.
Job Role:
The chosen candidate will be in charge of providing inspired leadership for the technical and operational dynamics of our organization's lines of business, which involves making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. The Technical and Operations Manager will be reporting directly daily to the CEO. An excellent remuneration package will be offered to the chosen candidate.
Technical and Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
- Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
- Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, and planning
- Demonstrate extensive programme management skills - these are essential to ensure that a wide variety of projects, both short-term and long-term, are efficiently and delivered on time and to budget.
- Work with the board of directors to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
- Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
- Must-Have the ability to get the best value for the business by maintaining existing and establishing new working relationships with business partners.
- Be an integral part of our team and must work on the company’s structure.
- To build trust in, and gain respect for yourself and the company.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, and work with the team Excellent and proven leadership skills; the Technical and Operations teams will be your direct reports.
- Be dedicated and self-motivated to excel.
Requirements:
- An electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent will be given preference.
- Good Communication and Managerial Skills
- Clean Driving License
- Technical Background in the field of Renewable Energy is considered an asset.
- Available for training both locally and abroad.

Bajada New Energy has already installed over 4 Mega Watts in Photovoltaic Systems (Solar Panels) and over 12,000 Solar Water Heaters and Solar Thermal Systems. We employ over 50 full- and part-time employees; electrical and mechanical engineers, architects and civil engineers, licensed electricians, and qualified installers, all backed by a team of professionals in the operations department.
