Senior Process Operative

Our client, a worldwide leader in trusted identity solutions, is looking for a Senior Process Operative. Responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to surpass daily production targets while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This role also includes training new operators, carrying out maintenance tasks, and providing leadership within the production team.

Your duties will include:

• Understanding and managing the master production schedule.
• Operating machinery efficiently to exceed daily production targets.  
• Training new Machine Operators and Assistants to ensure safe and efficient operations.  
• Planning and carrying out daily maintenance to ensure machine reliability.  
• Ensuring compliance with customer requirements as outlined in factory work instructions.  
• Coordinating with materials control for timely component requisition.  
• Updating daily production records, including quantities produced and efficiency levels.  
• Adhering to batch control procedures to maintain accuracy in the finishing process.  
• Conducting online quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.  
• Providing leadership and guidance to other team members.  
• Performing any additional tasks as assigned by the Process Leader and FLM.  
• Operating Folder and Guillotine machines.  

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 

1st shift: 06:00 - 14:00

2nd shift: 14:00 - 22:00

Salary + shift allowance of up to €4,000 gross yearly

• Must have the legal right to work in Malta
• At least 2 years of local experience in a similar role and industry is a must
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of current manufacturing processes and technologies with the ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Have a hands-on approach.

• Hold a Certificate/Diploma in Engineering, Production Management, or Print Technology.
