MCL Malta is looking to recruit a Product Assembly Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Product Assembly Coordinator will be accountable for the overall running of the Assembly Area, whilst ensuring that the customer requirements are being met on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The selected candidate will need to understand the process, and together with the assembly team, will need to manage and improve it autonomously. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to internal procedures.
Look at the daily and weekly forecasts and reallocate resources as required.
Oversee the smooth running of the department.
Review the team’s performance and take action accordingly.
Motivate team members and ensure that they have support to carry out their tasks.
Oversee the financial position of the department.
Lead the upkeep and organization of the assembly area.
Communicate with clients to ensure that required timeframes are being met.
Take initiatives to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
A trustworthy person with a can-do and flexible attitude.
Experience in leading a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in IT.
Good command of both English and Maltese.
Experience in inventory control.
Logistics experience would be considered an asset.
