Marine Technical Assistant

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Marine Technical Assistant to assist the Ship Superintendent. This individual will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the Superintendent. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain documents and reports as requested including vessel certifications and crew certifications.
• Responsible of the technical procurement
• Provide administrative support for the Superintendent
• Maintain filing systems
• Communicate with related authorities
• Ensure that officers onboarding documents, entries and reporting are in line with the regulations

Qualifications:

• A related qualification in Marine
• Local experience is a must
• Candidates with experience within the marine industry will be given preference
• Technical experience is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Maltese is highly preferred
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks whilst also working independently 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be in possession of a driving license
