Job Description
Fort40 Guesthouse in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Guest House Manager to join their team to ensure that the day-to-day operation is smooth giving the highest possible customer service.
.
The main duties and responsibilities for this role include the following:

• Make sure that customer satisfaction is on the highest possible level.
• Ensuring that the daily tasks are being carried out on time.
• Assisting in the day-to-day operations including the provision of the daily breakfast.
• Taking care of room assignments and making sure that all guests are receiving the proper room category according to their booking and their requests.
• Ensure that the Front of the House and Back of the House are kept clear, tidy, and organized.
• Ensuring the new recruits are being trained up to standard and keeping clear records of the training program in order to be able to report the progress to the Director.
• Able to deal with complaints, problem-solving, disturbances, special requests, and any other issues that may arise.
• Make sure that all the reviews received by our customers are being answered in an efficient way.
• Maximizing the hotel revenue and doing the utmost to promote and upsell the hotel.
• Reporting any essential conflicts or situations created between any staff members or customers efficiently.

Requirements: 

• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of other languages would be surplus
• Some experience in a similar role
• Candidates applying must have the Food Handling certificate
