Head of Retail Operations

Job Description
VF Group in Malta is looking to recruit a Head of Retail Operations to join their team on a full-time basis. The chosen candidate will lead Operational and support functions within the Retail Division which represents the major luxury fashion brands including Hugo Boss, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Zegna, Fendi, Moncler, and Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Tom Ford, Jimmy Choo, and Samsonite.

The Position:
Reporting to the Director of Retail the selected candidate will contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of a business strategy that maximises the retail net profit by driving sales and ensuring an excellent customer experience, whilst developing high-performing teams through effective leadership and development. The selected candidate will also be required to ensure the smooth running of processes and operations to ensure the Retail Division and respective support functions such as eCommerce, Warehousing, Marketing, and Logistics, work in synchronization to deliver an excellent service to our customers. 

The Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position ideally with luxury/premium brands or the fashion retail sector, together with a relevant
• qualification in Business Management, Retail, or Operations Management.
• Candidates with previous experience with luxury retail brands, visual merchandising, eCommerce, and a proven track record of growing profitability and exceeding sales targets.
• The selected candidate must have excellent customer relationship management and leadership skills together with strong business acumen and a flair for fashion and retail.
• Interested applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and Italian preferably, a good knowledge of MS Office applications,
• a valid driving licence and knowledge of POS systems.
