Our client, a leading Non Governmental Organisation, is currently recruiting for a Head of Programmes to join its Leadership team and oversee the operational activities of all disability programmes within their remit. Reporting to the CEO, your duties will include;

  • Ensuring/Championing total quality management (TQM), efficiency, effectiveness, as well as customer satisfaction.
  • Being actively involved in the strategic planning of the area under their remit.
  • Ensuring that the operational requirements of each disability programme is in line with technical and specialised requirements as offered by the organisation.
  • Forming part of a team that is committed to performance and compliance, whilst promoting a culture that supports inclusivity and diversity.
  • Ensuring that the services are managed with operational excellence and fiscal prudence by creating, refining, and implementing policies and systems while upholding the values of the NGO and together with their team shall work to create a culture of service and support that is customer centric.
Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Have experience managing a diverse team;
  • Have an analytical & strategic mind;
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of business in both English and Maltese;
  • Able to work well under pressure, to multi-task and to be flexible in their work approach depending on the changing needs.
Education & Experience
  • Possess a minimum of an MQF Level 6 of education in health, social science, education or in a related field;
  • Have at least five years’ experience in a similar role ideally in a school or healthcare facility;
