Floor Manager

Our client, operating within the retail industry is seeking to recruit a floor manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for;

• Supervising and delegating responsibilities to employees
• Hiring and training employees
• Conducting employee performance reviews
• Attending to and resolving complaints and conflicts from customers and employees
• Monitoring labour costs
• Setting targets for the team
• Placing of products 
• Ensuring a smooth running shift, whilst adhering to company policies and procedures

• Strong leadership, motivation, and people skills.
• Be a good communicator, a good listener, and possesses assertiveness skills.
• Can work under pressure and be results-oriented.
• Experience in a managerial position will be considered an asset.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent communications skills in English. Candidates with knowledge of additional languages, especially Maltese, will be given preference.

• An educational background, or proven experience working in the horticultural industry will be considered an asset
• Proven experience in a similar role
