IRIS THAUMAS Ltd is looking for a Flight Operations Officer to join our client's team that is responsible for planning and releasing flight to the operating crew. Flight Operations Officer will ascertain that a flight is not released unless meteorological conditions are taken into account and are part of the Integrated Operations Control Center (IOCC). The Integrated Operations Control Center operates 24/7 on a 2-2-3 shift pattern.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client, Air Atlanta Europe, is one of the leading ACMI & Charter service providers in the world.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing the Operational and ATS flight plans.
- Furnishing the commander, during flight, with appropriate information that may be necessary for the safe conduct of the flight.
- Ensure proper monitoring of the progress of each flight from its point of origin to its destination.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- At least 2 years of experience in a worldwide air operations environment.
- Dispatch, Pilot, or ATC license.
- Skills to delegate and work under intense time pressure.
- Good English proficiency.
- Great computer skills.
- Great communication skills.
EDUCATION:
- A level or Baccalaureate is preferred.
WORKING TIME:
- From 07:00 UTC to 19:00 UTC / and night shifts from 19:00 UTC to 07:00 UTC.
- Shift pattern 3-2-2 (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on) and (3 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off).
