Job Description:
As our Facilities Specialist (m/f/x) you will ensure the smooth running of our cool, stylish and modern Headquarters by coordinating the Maintenance, Security, and Cleaning teams as well as managing Health and Safety matters. We care for our employees and have invested in a workplace where our teams can be comfortable and do their best work. What would a typical day look like? Managing the day-to-day operations, mitigating operational disruption, and meeting the needs of the company as well as any statutory obligations.
You will take ownership of all facilities' operational activities such as planning, directing, and coordinating for our Malta office
At Tipico, no two days are ever the same. We are always prepared, get ready to coordinate daily facilities requests and all relevant works whilst also responding to emergencies and urgent issues in the best way
Overseeing all contractor works, including routine maintenance and on-site supervision is in your hands! We set standards and when rectification measures are needed, you will make sure they are made in good time.
You will build relationships with our facilities-related contractors, negotiate with suppliers, and quality control the provided services. We strive to be the best!
You will Implement OHSA regulations and directives, ensuring necessary safety and security procedures are carried out and implemented properly. Also creating appropriate records, preparing emergency evacuations, documenting fire safety and first aid procedures, and training our employees.
We are always looking to improve our overall operational efficiencies and effectiveness, driving quality improvements and leading business maintenance with minimum disruption
Stay on top of office moves, leading both our internal and external teams to be the best that we can be by achieving the most efficient outcomes
You are the go-to person for the business, supporting our Team Lead in providing our great Tipico office experience at all times!
Qualifications:
Technical skills -
Electrical Ing. Warrant or Electrical Licence A/B and technical qualification or equivalent
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and planner)
Strong competence in all Health and Safety regulations, directives, and matters
Knowledge of MEP, HVAC, ELA, and Firefighting/detection systems
Experience. Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar Facilities Management role
