Duty Manager

Job Description
Hilton Malta is looking to recruit a Duty Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.  The selected applicant will be responsible for the safety and security of the team, guests, and property and to provide hotel guests with above-and-beyond service to ensure their experience will be worth remembering.

Duties include:

• Providing superior customer service well before they arrive at the hotel and even after their departure
• Finding strategic ways of giving each Guest a personalized and memorable service
• Meeting and greeting arriving guests and bidding them farewell as they leave
• Reviewing the arrival list daily and assisting in allocating welcome amenities
• Escorting VIPs to their rooms and checking them in before their arrival  
• Attending promptly to customers' inquiries and assisting them with their needs
• Dealing with guest complaints and providing tangible solutions to their issues or concerns
• Finding proactive ways of enhancing the Guest experience
• Ensuring the safety and security of all hotel guests, team members, and property
• Representing the Hotel management during their absence
• Providing support to reception with check-in and check out as required

We are looking for the following:

• A team member with leadership experience preferably working within a front desk environment
• An assertive, organized, and ambitious personality who is able to build relationships with Guests and Colleagues alike
• A person who is able to act with a sense of urgency and leaves no stone unturned to ensure an outstanding level of service to our Guests
• A team player who is able to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds and has a good understanding of all hotel departments
• A person who can work independently with minimal guidance
