Chief Executive Officer

Our client is one of the leading companies in Malta.  As they are growing their operations, they now need to employ a Chief Executive Officer to join their Senior Management team 

The Role

• You will be reporting into the board of directors 
• You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic business plan for the new business and part of the existing business
• You will have a number of Senior Managers reporting into you, each of which will be managing an area of the business
• You will ensure that all the operations under your remit will operate at an optimal profit margin level
• You will create synergies and cost effective measures
• The job requires that existing business and new intitiatives are amalgamated ensuring a successful outcome
• As the CEO, you will be seek new business opportunities to grow the business

• Experience at Senior Management level within the Logistics/Shipping sector is a must for this role
• You must be assertive yet approachable
• You must be a a good communicator
• You must have a very good business acumen
• You must be numbers driven
• You will need to travel from time to time

• Having an Engineering Background will be considered an asset but not a must
• Having tertiary level of education will be considered as a strong asset
