One of our clients within the Aviation service sector is looking to recruit a strategically-minded Business Control and RM Analyst who will be responsible for the maximisation and optimisation of this company's revenue within the commercial teams.
Responsibilities:
Analyse revenue performance, market share, capacity, competitive landscape and develop market level strategies
Forecasting demand (eg freesale and alloted capacity) and contribution on flights
Monitoring competitor pricing and ensuring that proper pricing and availability is in place
Optimising flight related parameters (eg overbooking, bucket settings)
Stay appraised of key events and other cargo demand drivers in assigned markets
Manage of overbooking levels for assigned markets
Analyse trends in bookings, revenue and market dynamics
Assess demand patterns and competitive landscape
Segment customers based on market conditions
Develop rate structure/demand forecast to optimise revenue
Plan seasonal strategy for holiday and peak periods
Developing flight steering strategy and ensuring correct settings when flights open for sales
Adjusting the steering strategy and ensuring the right traffic mix based on detailed analysis
Supporting the regional commercial managers in monthly budgeting and forecasting
Monitoring route performance (allocation utilisation, operational performance) and understanding related market dynamics, such as market share development, competitor behaviour and macro-economic trends
Identifying causes that thwart optimal flight optimisation and proposing solutions of improvement for such hinderances
Initiating and leading projects related to Network Planning management process enhancement
