Social Media & Marketing Executive

Our client is seeking to recruit an ambitious and entrepreneurial Social Media & Marketing Executive to their fast-growing dynamic team, to actively contribute to the online Marketing and Social Media efforts.  

The ideal candidate will be a Social Media whiz, with a passion and drive to promote the brand and engage audiences through social channels.  

Main Responsibilities: 

• To create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules 
• To grow and expand the company's social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, Tiktok & Google my business. 
• Schedules social media posts using applications such as Hootsuite. 
• Interacts with customers and deals with customers’ enquiries online 
• Coordinates photoshoots and other day-to-day marketing tasks. 
• Assists in the development of new social media strategies and campaigns. 
• Collaborates with colleagues from across marketing departments to ensure branding is consistent. 
• Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members, including advertising, product development, and brand management 
• Researches and monitors the activity of company competitors 
• Creates and distributes engaging written and graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content,  social media messages and boosts. 
• Conceptualizes, designs and implements creative graphics. 

Skills & Qualifications 

• Knowledge of and an interest in the methods organisations use to promote themselves through social media is a necessity. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills. 
• Photo and video editing experience. 
• Organisational skills. 
• Analytical ability. 
• An ability to multitask, and to work on a number of projects at once. 
• Strong problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent command of English, Maltese would also be preferred
• Currently living in Malta
