Mediterranean Yacht Sales in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Sales & Marketing Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Job Role:
You’ll take charge of the end-to-end sales and marketing to ensure a constant drive for improvement is achieved year on year.  With a confident leadership approach, you will bring a great sense of creativity and structure to the role with the scope to shape, redefine, and deliver an innovative Sales and Marketing practice. Flawless execution is imperative and you will be highly motivated to keep in line with the company ethos of delivering seamless end-to-end sales, with impeccable customer service.

You Are:

  • An experienced, credible Sales & Marketing Manager and will be proud of your portfolio to date. Always ensuring that each sale cycle is better than the last;
  • A team player but also thrive when working autonomously;
  • Constantly seeking innovative techniques to drive sales and marketing leads.;
  • Great multitasker with knowledge of increasing efficiency, managing budgets, and thus balancing creative and commercial considerations;
  • Super organized, calm, yet creative and will have excellent experience in running of Sales and marketing campaigns;
  • Constantly looking at ways to improve and have a passion for constantly challenging the status quo;
  • Passionate about the yachting world and have a love for the sea.

You Will:
  • Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales of new and used boats on the company’s brokerage list and increase the qualified traffic to our front door;
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from idea to execution;
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis to build successful marketing strategies;
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for the website and blog, that attracts and converts our target group;
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels such as content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis, etc;
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals;
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely;
  • Organize and file all work in a clear, coherent manner;
  • Create a network of worthy clients by visiting yacht clubs, attending yacht races, and attending boat shows.

You’ll Have:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume, dynamic Sales and Marketing management role;
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and devise marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate Solid knowledge of website analytics tools. e.g., Google Analytics, etc;
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns;
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing;
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers and processing figures within spreadsheets;
  • Adaptable to change with the needs of an organization;
  • Project management skills, with the ability to multitask with ease;
  • Strong communicator (written and verbally), with love for great copy and witty communication;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Must be fluent in English. Maltese is a bonus;
  • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field;
  • Due to the nature of the job, knowledge of boats is a must;
  • A boat license is preferred but not compulsory;
  • Ability to travel to Europe.
