International Gaming Operations Specialist (Betfair International)

PokerStars is looking to recruit a full-time International Gaming Operations Specialist for Betfair International to be based in their Malta office.

Are you our next star player?
Reporting into the International Gaming Senior Operations Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the online international gaming platforms (Casino, Poker, Bingo, etc.) across eight markets. You will focus on making sure we fully demonstrate our promotional capabilities via internal and external partner platforms and assist the team in building, testing, and rolling out new gaming features and promotions to provide customers with best-in-class journeys.

Why we need you:
You will be the internal specialist on international gaming front-end and back-end platforms, acting as an internal centre of expertise for the rest of the team. This role will involve collaboration with various central teams such as Product, Technology, and Digital, to ensure that end-to-end promotional execution is smooth and customer journeys are properly shaped. You will also play a part in supporting the implementation of robust risk management practices across the promotional proposition and ensuring promotions are configured correctly, encouraging automation and continuous improvements.

Other responsibilities include:

• Taking direct responsibility for facilitating the execution of the monthly promotional plan.
• Supporting the management and feeding a repository of promotional offers.
• Understanding the different market regulations and the roadmap for the delivery of new products.
• Supporting the rollout of new gaming products and features, performing the user acceptance testing required.
• Training the teams on upcoming changes to make sure they know how to run new products and features.
• Acting as a point of call for all CS queries.

Who we’re looking for:
You will have knowledge of casino games, betting, and the finer details of operating a casino, along with knowledge and interest in the real money gambling landscape. Skills in MS suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of SQL would be highly desirable. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of a further foreign language (such as Spanish, Italian, Romanian, or Portuguese) is advantageous.

• A Batchelor’s degree level qualification.
• Drive and curiosity to proactively explore new approaches on how to best utilise our platform capabilities.
• An ability to learn from past experiences and an open-minded approach.
• A proactive way of working and the ability to react quickly.
• The ability to develop an awareness of the regulation, compliance, and product differences across the markets.
• A keen interest in supporting other team members’ performance, driving improvements throughout the team.
