International Gaming Operations Executive (Betfair International)

PokerStars is looking to recruit a full-time International Gaming Operations Executive for Betfair International to be based in their Malta office.

Are you our next star player?
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will focus on executing our gaming promotional offer, automating the manual work when possible, providing better customer journeys and faster updates on promotions. The role will require a positive, flexible, and proactive approach to change. You will be able to deliver promotional execution with a high level of energy and passion by collaborating with the relevant commercial team and other stakeholders that are part of the promotional process.

Why we need you:
We’re looking for someone who can master the knowledge of the tools used to implement and execute the promotional plan, giving input into the promotion planning process to make sure capacity is considered. You will get involved in the promotion setup and roll-out, content placement, game releases, site segmentation, and more.

Other responsibilities include:

• Being responsible for the T&Cs for each offer available, making sure they are clear, compliant, up to date, and accessible to other teams.
• Leading the testing phase, ensuring all the contents are properly tested and reviewed before they go live.
• Utilising our tools to deliver automated campaigns where possible.
• Feeding a repository of Promotional Offers.
• Reporting on promotion opt-ins and issued bonuses.
• Improving the promo execution processes to make sure it is constantly streamlined and workload is properly managed.
• Collaborating with the International Gaming Ops Senior Executive on the execution of commercial initiatives requiring operational involvement; for example, set up of new acquisition offers, and collaboration in setting up CRM journey.
• Retain usage of the banner maker for ad-hoc onsite assets production.
• Developing awareness of the differences across the markets served and of the importance of offering a gaming experience that is properly localised and relevant to customers.

Who we’re looking for:

• You will have around two years of experience in an e-commerce environment, not necessarily gaming, in a similar role, and be familiar with the processes and tool-set used within an e-commerce function (PRISMIC, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word).
• A good understanding of internet technology and devices is required, along with HTML skills.
• An interest, and ideally some knowledge, in the real money gambling landscape, is also highly desirable.

As the ideal candidate you will have:

• A Batchelor’s degree level qualification.
• Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of another foreign language such as Spanish, Italian, Romanian, or Portuguese would be desirable.
• The ability to proactively act and timely react to changes in the business landscape.
• Excellent communication skills, as this role involves collaboration and coordination across resources from different teams.
• The ability to navigate through high-pressure periods and support the required changes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with clear attention to detail.
