Communications & PR Specialist

Our client within the Financial Services Industry are seeking a Communications & PR Specialist, reporting to the Communications & PR Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Manager in developing and implementing strategic goals.   
• Managing social media platforms, including content creation and scheduling.  
• Attending internal and external meetings on behalf of the Manager.  
• Tracking and reporting on data analytics for the website, social media platforms, PR campaigns, and other organised campaigns.  
• Conducting daily media/press reviews and reporting to senior management.  
• Assisting with the monitoring of the website.  
• Supporting internal communications initiatives.  
• Monitoring LinkedIn and Facebook daily, particularly for feedback and comments after posting.  
• Performing daily media reviews.  
• Participating in fairs and career initiatives.  
• Providing the Manager with administrative support for daily tasks, including event logistics.  
• Performing any other duties assigned by the Director, Deputy Director, Head, Senior Manager, or Manager.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 

Winter Hours: 08:00 - 17:00

Summer Hours: 08:00 - 13:30

• Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated experience in design, proficiency with design tools such as Canva, InDesign, Adobe, and Illustrator, as well as experience in event planning and management, social media management, brand management, and media/press relations.
• Hold strong communication skills in both Maltese and English are required, along with a proven track record in design and social media tasks.

• Hold a University Degree in Digital Marketing, Communication Studies, Marketing, Media & Digital Arts, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Or Diploma (MQF Level 5) in these fields and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience will also be considered
